What is Paintless Dent Removal?

Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) is "the art of massaging metal back into its original form." It is the fastest, most efficient, cost-effective method of removing door dings and minor dents. It is the auto-body alternative.

How much does PDR cost?

The factors involved in pricing a repair depend on the location of damage and possible access points, as well as the size and depth of the damage. An average estimate for a “ding” repair is generally $79-$125. A dent repair, approximately golf ball size, starts at $135, and palm-sized dents start at $200. Complex dents, long or deep creases, and large dents may be from $250-$425.  Generally, the cost of PDR is less than half the cost of traditional bodywork, and for every vehicle repair involving three or more panels, a 10% discount will apply.

How long does it take?

The repair of a single dime-to-quarter-size ding will take under a half hour, and multiple dings usually within an hour. Repair time estimates depend largely on the dents depth and location.
Even though larger or complex dents and creases will take additional time, most repairs are completed within two hours.

How is PDR work?

Our PDR process involves using a special board to reflect a light pattern across the damaged area. An experienced technician with acute hand-eye coordination will access the damaged panel from behind, and using uniquely handcrafted tools gently manipulate and massage the panel back to its pre-accident condition, leaving the existing factory finish undisturbed.

Is PDR work guaranteed?

Yes! We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If for some reason you are unhappy or dissatisfied with our work, it will be free of charge. Whether you bring your vehicle in for an estimate or we come to you, our technician will advise you on the best method of repair and the expected results. In cases where bodywork is recommended but PDR is the customers chosen method, the technician will indicate in advance what the expected outcome will be.
We strongly recommend that our customers familiarize themselves with our photo gallery, to get a sense of what our technicians are capable of achieving.

Do I have to bring my vehicle to the repair facility?

No. In most cases, paintless dent removal and door ding repair can be achieved at our customers location. Our mobile units currently service Raleigh, Durham, North Carolina and the surrounding cities. We may ask that for complex repairs the car be brought in to the repair facility. Please submit an online estimate request with photographs, and we will tell you if its necessary to bring your vehicle in. Although we service our immediate community on the westside, it is not uncommon for our mobile technicians to travel further for multiple vehicle repairs at the same location.
